Gabrielle and Joseph - Love Stories and Happy Endings

Photos speak silently of moments in time; life; love; sadness; and happiness; joy and laughter.  For me, capturing ones beauty or ones strength or love is why I love photography.  When a couple comes to me and asks if I would capture their love story, I am honored to have been chosen and can't wait for them to tell me all about their story.  How they met - what their plans are for their wedding - the rest of their life together.  These moments that couples share with me are priceless and I am always honored they chose me to capture this special moment for them. I recently had this privilege when Gabrielle and Joseph asked me to capture THEIR wedding story.  I had taken their Engagement photos earlier and they wanted me to continue telling their story - how could I say no!

Their wedding was at the beautiful Sand Springs Resort and Golf Club in Drums, Pennsylvania.  From the covered arches, the beautifully kept grounds with greens and bridges and water fountains and rock walls, to the good food and gracious staff - everything came together for this beautiful couple very nicely.  Rachel - the Wedding Coordinator - was a doll to work with and very helpful and attentive to the couples needs.  it was a pleasure working with her.

The Bride looked beautiful from her strapless gown right down to her bejeweled shoes that read on the bottom "I Do."  The girls in attendance wore beautiful lace dresses of navy and pinks and grays.  The men of course all decked out in their finest and the Groom looked so excited in anticipation and waiting to see his beautiful Bride walk down the aisle.  You could see the twinkle in his eyes during the entire ceremony... love, respect, and longing for the next journey together as man and wife.

I must say besides the ceremony, the most memorable moment for me as a photographer was when I photographed the Bride and her Grandmother getting ready.  The love between the two of them was undeniable and you can see this in the way they glanced at each other, touched one another, and spoke silently to each other.  Not only did they shed a tear at one point, I think I found myself wiping away one or two myself.  I will say some of my favorite photos are the "getting ready" of the Bride part of the day.  These photos capture so much love, and laughter, and precious moments between friends and family - which make for great memories.

I hope Gabrielle and Joseph have many happy and loving years to come with their now extended families and I thank them for allowing me to capture memories that will last a lifetime.

Peace and Love,
